The Shaker wall panelling kit consists of stiles and rails that are made from 12mm and 16mm mdf and top moulding 25 mm that come in loose components. This open backed kit uses the wall as the panel and when painted in the same colour, looks as if the whole wall is panelled. If the wall surface is very rough, then you could place an mdf sheet on the wall first, then place the kit in front but in most cases this is not needed.
Each kit has 5no. vertical legs to support the base rail, 4 no. horizontal rails and 2no. horizontal top mouldings.
Mdf is unfinished, after fitting, it needs to be primed, lightly sanded then an undercoat and finish coat of paint applied.
